Different kinds of transactions raise their own questions about how to carry the process forward in an efficient and cost effective manner. Problems may arise, and when they do, it is important to be prepared. The first step is to ensure that your agreements have the appropriate provisions when being written. As such, we are developing the language and code needed (1) to select a jurisdiction and law that will govern a possible disputes, (2) to create a process for quick and efficient dispute resolution that is more likely to lead to a fair settlement and, when that is not possible, (3) to select binding arbitration by a neutral body chosen in advance. We aim to create a platform that will provide automated arbitration services drawing on machine learning and decision theory.
